Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Ho on November 19 1972. She was born in London. The daughter of Chinese parents as well as French mothers. At the age of five and her family left Chinese to Canada. She was a catwalk model for a time in Paris before becoming an actress. In 1991's Black Robe, she made her film debut as Annuka. Her performance was rewarded with the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar.
